Of course, DAAD is an organization that gives funding to students over the world, is not a University, if the university starts (dates and so on could be diferent from uni to uni state to state) the DAAD just give the funding, and thats it, is not labor of the DAAD to determine that. If the german goverment open borders and the Unis starts you will be going thats it.

If you got the documents, you just need to upload the Dec. of Acceptance and the Health Insurance to tell them you are accepting the scholarship, thats it

Hello people, Any news about the EPOS Scholarship (Uni Stuttgart) IUSD program? they been silent for months, on the DAAD website they say that they will countinue the process for the winter term.

I did met a person that went from preselection to funding, and other that went from paper copies received to funding, the application status means literally nothing.

Hey no worries! You know, it depends on the section, which status or date you have on portal. The person(s) in charge of your program or your country -that means section in Bonn- and the person at the office in your country are authorized to see your portal and make some changes there, as far as I know. Maybe it's true those who have already the date till Sep. 2020 are shortlisted (I don't know it because my actual scholarship is for a year from the moment of my application), but possibly the person in charge of your program has not done it, because of any reason.

status or date on portal is not so important. We receive an e-mail if there's an important change on our status and we've got a message. I understand too much that our anxiety leads us to the portal but we should not stress us unnecessarily through the updates that are possibly specific ones in other sections.
I'm not saying we should not changing information but the receiver must be somehow relaxed! Although I'm not relaxed...

I guess in that case they offer you an Online German course at DUO

I Got exactly same message today .. seems like DAAD scam.. all my friend from reputed institute from India got selected except candidate from local universities or colleges.. DAAD people should mention that applicant from local university or colleges are not applicable.. simple waste of time and energy..  would recommend people from next year if you are from local univ or college .. forget about ur chance .. i have more than 16 publication all above 4 impact factor paper .. percentage since class x is above 85 . 4 years research experince in ICMR govt of India.. WTF more they want from a PhD candidate .. DAAD NOT FOR COMMON APPLICANTS.. EITHER YOUR ADVISORS HAVE GOOD contacts or just dont apply ?

Hello everyone I just thought that the new board should be created, I applied for the scholarship for an MA, crossing my fingers. 

I also applied for a MA scholarship and they also told me that, decision of funding will be given three weeks later after the committee  meeting in January, and after that back in November they told me that the response will arrive in February, but it seems result will be arriving until March
