Just found out I got the Joseph-Armand Bombardier award! First time applying (but already 2 years into a doctoral program - so was my one and only chance to get it).

My friend got his letter in the mail today too (in Montreal).

Hey everyone! I emailed SSHRC a few weeks ago and this is what they said: "The results will be mailed the last week of April 2018 by mail only". So guess everyone should double check what address they wrote on the application! Good luck everyone!

This has probably already been asked but does anyone know when in April we should hear back? Also, if we applied through an institution how will the decision be communicated to us (i.e., online, via email, through our department?). Thanks!

Hey everyone! New to this forum. Also waiting to hear something. I have a quick question - does anyone happen to know of anyone who transferred their Vanier to another PhD program at a different university? I know it says clearly on the website that this isn't possible, but I'm really hoping that if I do get Vanier I will be able to transfer it.... looking for a loophole so please let me know if you have heard anything about this being a possibility!
