  1. I was not funded committee 3 was mean haha. My (much stronger) application was marked 2.3 points lower than last years with committee 5. The joys of interdisciplinary work
  2. Fingers crossed for you enough others don't take it, so you get an award.
  3. No email yet - and nothing in my last year's link either. Happy to know emails are going out so that I can be put out of my misery!
  4. This happened to me on the SSHRC side last year, and there is a cutoff in total mark which triggers the 3rd reviewer. Mine was far enough apart one reviewer marked me in the top 10 and one marked me in the bottom 10. But it wasn't significant enough to trigger an extra review.
  5. How many NSERC awards are there? I wonder if that 2000 is all of the NSERC emails.
  6. I asked for this last year and it was really interesting. I had one reviewer who marked me 9th overall and one who marked me 10 spots form the bottom haha. But the discrepancy wasn't enough to trigger a 3rd reviewer (you need a 1.5/6 discrepancy, and mine was 1.4). I wasn't funded, and ended up deciding to apply to a different committee this year.
  7. I call it... how will I pay my bills, episode 2023. Haha
  8. Usually CIHR is one week before SSHRC. So I'm going to assume we are waiting till Friday. Which is a pain since tomorrow is my last day to change my summer grad settlement if I do win. I did okay last year, so we will see.
  9. Does anyone who has applied previously know if you have to do a whole new password etc; or do they put this year's results in the same place as last year's? Is it worth checking with all the fury of my ADHD??
  10. Last year I got the email about results on the 26th, but the documents were uploaded on the 11th... sooo frustrating.
  11. Hey Folks who have done this before, has anyone ever contested their results? I emailed SSHRC for a breakdown, and the difference between member one and member two was pretty substantial (think like more than enough for review two to move my application from well above the threshold for funding, to well below the threshold for funding).
  12. I would be interested to hear about this! I am also in an interdisciplinary program and had a really hard time figuring out which committee
  13. I ended up getting funded off CGS-M waitlist - but they had a category specifically for being waitlisted. This looks very much like Offered/Not Offered. So it makes me wonder if its just a matter of money not given out this year becomes extra awards next year kinda thing.
  14. If there is no wait-list, maybe it is just that - no waitlist, so anything not claimed is just... not claimed?
  15. Unsuccessful from 752-5B at 8.91/12, cut off was 9.24 for my committee! But, hey, its my first time applying, and getting my application forwarded was pretty cool!
  16. So much this. This is my first time applying, and I am really curious what my score will be like. When I looked at last year's results, it looked like a lot of scores which would have been funded in previous years were not funded.
  17. Thanks for getting us all an update. Its funny - I did a great job putting it out of my mind for a long time, but since April ticked over its been a lot harder!
  18. It is literally the worst. Based on previous years, we have like 23 - 25 more days to go lol.
  19. I am also dying to know. I had no idea that they actually score your application, so I am pretty excited to see the score whether I get the scholarship or not.
  20. I haven't heard anything yet - though I believe results are supposed to be here by end of April at the latest?
  21. Anyone waitlisted at U of G heard yet?
