    I went to an interview and the professor told me she really wanted me to choose that program because she loved my research ideas. I'm guessing that's a good indication of a possible acceptance?

    I got a very pleasant email from a PI at UMass Boston (HL), after having a phone call with her, informing me that I was not invited to attend the interview day. If anyone got an offer from her and isn't too excited about it, PLEASE let me take your spot lol

    Hey, I was contacted by a PI at UMass Boston. No formal invitations have been sent out yet. I just think some PIs decided to reach out to a few students for more information. don't worry if you haven't received anything! It's still early. Good luck!

    School: University of Massachusetts: Boston Type: Clinical PhD Date of Invite: 1/16/18 Type of invite: email from POI for INFORMAL interview Interview date: 1/18 I got an email asking for a preliminary phone interview! This is one of my top programs, so I'm very excited! This is my first time applying to clinical PhD programs and I know many applicants have more experience, better GPA, and higher GRE scores. I applied to 10 programs, I have 4 formal interviews and now 1 phone interview. I'm scared that all of this is too good to be true. Since I have at least 4 interviews, are my odds of actually getting accepted pretty high??

    Anyone know how important it is for the program you attend to be ranked? Specifically in regards to career outcomes. I chose programs to apply to based on research interests rather than prestige.

    Help! My two top programs have the same interview weekend! I already RSVP'ed to my 2nd choice program's interview weekend, but I feel like I should attend the interview for my top program? What do I do? I feel like it would be bad to back out of an in-person interview and ask to do skype instead.
