    Hey, I just emailed with their clinical director and she confirmed that while I had a strong application, I wasn't able to be offered an interview spot, in part due to lack of enough relevant coursework and supervised clinical experience. Ah well! It's just nice to get confirmation

    Yea, I may contact their counseling psychology PhD admissions director again tomorrow. I'm afraid of coming across as too pushy but if their interview date is really 2/9 I need to know soon...

    I've applied to the counseling psychology PhD program at the University of Massachusetts Boston. It looks like a mass email went out last Friday (1/12) for invites but I'm wondering if it's possible they send out invites in waves? I was in contact with their admissions office and the person I spoke to said my application was still in line to be reviewed on 1/10, so I'm hoping I may be offered an interview in a second wave of emails. Just wondering - thanks!
