One thing I've started doing is checking my academia.edu profile "analytics" info to see from which regions and on what dates people have been searching my profile and articles. Not sure how accurate this method is or whether potential schools spend much time googling their applicants. (for example, I've gotten like 5 searches from Toronto in the past two weeks, which could indicate some interest from U of T). Also if a researcher who also has an academia.edu profile searches you, all that comes up is "Someone from the United States read your article"... which is vague and not particularly helpful. Anyways, this could be a useful method to see what regions/schools have been trying to find more information about your work.

I just got a spam email message titled "Yahoo msn award email" "This is to inform you that you have won prize money of Eight Hundred and Twenty Thousand United State Dollars, ($820, 000.00) on our ongoing Monthly 2018 prize promotion, which was organized by YAHOO & OUTLOOK WINDOWS LIVE AND MICROSOFT AWARDS." Grr lol...

The other week I ominously found a playing card on a bench in the middle of the night while waiting at my bus stop (an ace of diamonds ♦️).... so I decided to look up the tarot card meaning, and the card seems to symbolize a future opportunity or transition to come. When I looked up at the street intersection, I realized I was on Columbia Street, and that the next street after is Ontario Street. Hmm... what could this premonition mean? ....This is how much I am self-shellacking myself right now lol ?? Also I just joined this forum!
