Hmm, I see. Mine is also very close to the uni and all utilities are included in the rent, so that's a big plus. The only downside is that it's unfurnished.

Hey there, I will be also attending Washu this Fall. What did the grad students say exactly about Quadrangle? I've just rented an apartment in University City from them (going in August) and seeing this post makes me worried now.

No, I wasn't as I am an international student and it wasn't easy for me to attend. How was the visit weekend? What's your personal opinion about WashU (from your experience during the visit weekend). Btw, you are completely right. The research quality AND the supervisor are the most important factors when deciding. The only reason I am attending WashU is because of a specific professor. (ok and maybe the money :p)

My personal opinion is this; It doesn't matter from which university in the world you are coming from. It doesn't matter if it's from MIT or from a uni in Europe, Africa, or Asia. If you deserve it and can prove that you are good, you can get admitted anywhere. Science has not barriers and does not, for any reason, discriminate!

We would like to extend an offer of admission however your application is missing your official TOEFL score report from ETS. " Forget about the TOEFL, I will sort it out. Does that mean that they will make me an offer of admission? I am literally dumb right now and I just want to clarify it -

I don't really know. But the majority of PhD students in the U.S are international (according to some reports!). So, it doesn't really matter, does it?

Well, what can you do. We just have to wait and see now. Also, with WashU are you referring to University of Washington or Washington University in St. Louis?
