Hola a todos nuevamente y felicitaciones a los admitidos!!!!! Just an update on my NYU application. I received the official rejection. I was already expecting it since I didn't get an interview, but I talked to a current student who mentioned that in past years they've had interviews until early March so if you applied there and haven't received a rejection it might be good news for you! I also applied to the Ph.D. in Literary, Cultural, and Linguistic Studies at the University of Miami (they have quite a few faculty members whose expertise match my research interests even though it's not a Spanish program per se), but I haven't heard anything from them and I cannot find a lot of info here. No idea if they even do interviews. Does anyone happen to know more about their admission process?

¡Hola a todos! Just checking in to see the news and I agree - this seems to be a very difficult year. Still, felicitaciones a quienes ya tienen respuestas positivas!!!!! In my case, I haven't heard back from any of the programs so my rejections will probably arrive soon. You'll see me on the 2023 topic as I'm already getting ready for a new admission season - trying to stay positive!

¡Hola a todos! Just found this thread as I anxiously wait to hear back from some programs. Congratulations to everyone that already received an acceptance!!!! I noticed that only @GRADSPN1mentioned an interview with NYU (good luck btw!!!!) - has anyone else heard back? I'm still waiting for them and Columbia LAIC. And also, has anyone applied to the PhD in Literary, Cultural and Linguistic Studies at the University of Miami?

So good to hear this! And congrats on getting an interview! I found out about mine this past Sunday. I'll be having it this week, what about yours? As for your other questions, I've been to Paris once about 10 years ago and I speak a little bit of French. I chose Parsons Paris because I love the opportunities available there compared to the NY campus. What about you?
