    @socinerd I just received the email today at around noon. I've got my fingers crossed for you too - I've been checking religiously every day, so I know exactly how you feel. I hope you get it soon so the wait can finally be over!!

    I've been an alternate at Carleton for SSHRC since April 1st. I received an email today saying that my status changed... I just logged in and it looks like I've been offered funding! I was also an alternate for UOttawa so my spot was declined. For all fellow alternates there, you'll at least be moved up a spot. Good luck everyone!!

    Had an interview at UOttawa a few weeks ago (posted in here), but received my rejection notice a couple of days ago (initially by email, but checked the portal and it says "Refused"). I was accepted for a MA somewhere else though, so I'm going to work on getting some more experience/publications, and then reapply for my PhD in a couple of years! Good luck to everyone else who's still waiting!

    I received an email from my POI today for UOttawa for a Skype interview next week. So apparently they're starting to roll out for some profs!
