I once saw here an MSc applicant, from New Zealand, who said his status didn't change until it suddenly changed to funding and he was sent his official funding documents at the same time.

My status went from selection made to funding today. I heaved a sigh of relief that I am sure was heard all over the world. Anyway, my advisor said that the official letters will be sent us in a matter of days (which could be more than 7, but we will hope for the best) as soon as they are approved. Furthermore, she told that the language training, unlike as in the years past, will begin in June 2018 and end in September 2018, 4 months that is, hence October should see us being sent to our various institutions.

What was status before the rejection? Was it selection made?

They usually change the dates for doctoral candidates who are not aware of the 6 month language course.

Has anybody's status who applied for the doctoral scholarship gone from selection made to funding. Please inform the rest of us expectantly waiting as soon as this change occurs. It will be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Where are you applying from. I recently found out that an applicant from my country was sent his rejection letter on the 9th, last Friday, hence it could be inferred that the recipients would be informed this week from the 12th of March hopefully. Then we will find out why the duration was changed and when the language course will begin.

Congratulations. It must've been a massive relief, many of us here are still waiting to exhale. I know you applied for an MA scholarship, but I believe that your experiences might have been similar to doctoral applicants'. Was your funding duration changed, because mine was changed and moved to April 2019 instead of October 2018 which was initially there. Were you sent your funding letter, in the case your funding was changed prior to this, did it reflect in the letter. When is your language course scheduled to begin. Please reply as soon as can.
