    I hope you hear back soon! I only applied to five schools as well (university of Iowa, UH, Lamar, SFA, TxState) I heard UTD is a great program! Good luck to you!

    I was accepted into UH, Lamar, and Texas State. Still waiting to hear back from sfa! Anyone else?! If so, what is your first choice and why! Mine is Texas State!

    Howdy speechies, I'm starting grad school in the fall and I am very interested in conducting my own research. Any grad students on here doing research with voice or neuro? I would like to hear what you are researching if not!

    You are very welcome! You could try, but usually they don't disclose your ranking. They just call people up as they come. I'm sure you will be fine! Where else did you apply to? Are you from the Houston area?

    ALL. THE. TIME. Remember, us applicants usually apply to a couple of schools and may not commit to that school. After April15th, the program will know how many student accepted their offer of admission. For those who do not, they pull people from the waiting list! No worries! Waiting list is not a rejection! Good luck!

    Thank you so much for your insight! As I previously mentioned, I attend university of Houston and commute to school. I didn't really get the "college experience" which I'm kind of longing for. I'm guessing living in round rock won't give me that feel huh?

    That's good to hear about them wanting to be R1. I was hoping I would be offered a scholarship based on my merit, but to know avail. How expensive do you think round rock would be? I'm betting San Marcos will be cheaper, but unfortunately they're moving their clinic out to round rock .

    Hello my fellow speechies, So far, I have been accepted into Texas State university and Lamar university. I am dying to know what current grad students from each school think about their program! I know txstate is moving to round round (near Austin) which is perfect for location, but lamar's living expenses seem more reasonable. Undergraduates who have witnessed grad students in action is welcome as well! I would like to know about the clinic-is the equipment up to date, how does it function, size, etc.. Stress level-let's be real, grad school is no walk in the park! But, I interviewed with SFA and their students are in love with it and aren't racked with anxiety. (plus their clinic is DOPE!) The professors-how accessible are they? Are they enthusiastic, helpful? Research opportunities- I know both schools have an emphasis on research, but lamar seems to offer more. I also applies to UH(where I'm completing my undergrad-GO COOGS!) and SFA (had my interview-should hear back the week of March 19th) Thank you in advance!

    Hi there! I am currently in undergrad at the University of Houston. Admissions should be sent out during Spring break(according to our advisor). My friend got his today, and I am still waiting to hear back. I hear they come in waves! Good luck!
