Thank you very much! There was nothing to respond to in the unofficial offers I received from U of G and McMaster. I have not yet received my official offer from U of G a - still waiting. However, I received my official offer from McMaster today at 4:06 PM.

It said that my application was rated highly and they are now recommending to the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) that they extend an official offer to me.

Hello, Did anyone who got an unofficial offer from McMaster receive any communication indicating the deadline to accept/reject the offer? I don’t see anything in Mosaic. My status is still pending although I received an unofficial offer, and I didn’t receive anything informing me when I need to make a recipe by. Thanks so much!

It's still super early! Don't be disheartened - the website says: "Successful applicants tend to hear back from the MPH Admissions Committee in April via WebAdvisor." Stay positive.

It is presently an unofficial offer until approved by University administration. The email I received today said that I can expect to receive an official offer within the next 2 weeks and I will have to login to WebAdvisor to view the offer. I think the deadline date will be stated in the official offer, so I don't know yet! Did you apply to U of G?

Hi! An attachment in the email they sent informed me that I was being recommended to the School of Graduate Studies for an official offer. Nothing has changed on Mosaic for me. Status still is "pending."

Thank you so much! My apologies for the delay in response. In June 2019, I graduated with from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Public Health and Safety. The program is recognized by the Canadian Institute of Public Health Inspectors. In the final semester of the 4 year program, my GPA was 3.92. I gained some research experience through an undergraduate thesis project that I conducted under the supervision of a professor. My poster presentation for the research project I did was judged as 3rd best representing public health at the School of Occupational and Public Health (SOPHe) Student Research Symposium in April 2019. I presently work as COVID-19 Contact Tracer with the Ontario Ministry of Health - my first role in Public Health! My role primarily entails providing public health education to individuals who are identified as close contacts of people diagnosed with COVID-19. I also have some experience as a COVID-19 Case Investigator from when I assisted with Toronto Public Health Health's surge cases. I volunteered with Peel Public Health's Needle Exchange Program on a weekly basis for a few months. As a volunteer for this program, I was assembling "Quick Packs" with the goal of preventing the spread of blood-borne disease among drug users and self-piercers. So, nothing really exceptional in terms of public health experience. Both of my references were academic (a preference from MPH programs). A strong Letter of Intent is also super important for MPH applications! Wishing you all the best, Kelly

I received an offer from McMaster University this morning as well (MPH - Full-Time)!

I did not apply to OGS. Anyway, talked to them on the phone today and they let me know that decisions are still being made for the Epi and Nutrition streams. They said if you haven’t heard back yet, you’re still under review and that they’ll get to each applicant by June 30th. Hope this helps!

Has anyone who applied to the MPH Epidemiology program at U of T heard back from them this month with a decision? I have not yet received a notification and I’m just wondering if anyone else is in the same situation! Starting to think a lack of communication is indicative of rejection.
