  1. I was recently accepted to my top PsyD program with financial assistance and I couldn't be more excited. When I applied to my selection of programs, my interest area was generally solidified. However, recent events at my job have led to me to a new interest that I never personally considered before: BPD client recidivism within PHP/IOP programs. Considering the clinically focused structure of my PsyD program, will it be a huge issue that my interests have changed prior to entering the program? I'm concerned that my shift in interest will be a red flag because I seemed confident in my future goals and path to working with an entirely different population during the application/interview process.
  2. Good news: I got accepted to the PsyD program at UIndy! ? I was so comfortable there and the program aligns perfectly with my future goals, so I'm 99.9% sure that's where I'm headed this fall. Bad news: My final interview is scheduled for this weekend with another program. On one hand, I don't want to appear unprofessional, canceling my interview just a few short days prior. On the other hand, I don't want to spend their time and spend money on travel when I know I will be accepting another offer. I'm unsure how to notify their staff that I no longer plan on attending their interview weekend. Any advice would be much appreciated! Also, congrats to anyone else who was accepted!! ?
  3. Have all invites to Roosevelt gone out yet? Haven't heard about a rejection or waitlist but I know some people got interview emails.
  4. Hey, I have an interview with Widener for their PsyD program this upcoming Wednesday, 1/16. They emailed on 12/20 with an invite. Haven't heard from Xavier yet or know anyone else who has.
