Just got an email from GEM stating that I was not selected to receive a GEM Full Fellowship, but I would be considered for a GEM Associate Fellowship.

Yes, I think they sent that to everyone who is not awarded the fellowship. I got the same email. They do want us to contact the universities and ask them if they could take us as GEM associate in order to be awarded that as well. Is it actually the university that fund awardees or the GEM consortium that does so?

@mntfr @site   I contacted the admission they said that the results will be online early March. please don't lose hope. I think most of the students who received emails are from CS .

Signal Processing is EE and someone who got in and commented on here was accepted for Signal Possessing. Looking at the previous years feeds on here, decisions where released around Feb 4th and those who didn't hear anything got an official rejection around Feb 28 and March when they log in they application portal.  Previous candidates also reached out to the department and they reported the same answers.

Thank you so much for the encouragement though. it is really nice of you.

  3. Cheers guys,

The current Dean of engineering at MIT got rejected by the institution 3 time, for his BS, MS, and PhD

Sergei Brin, co-fonder of Google was rejected by MIT for his PhD and many more cases like that

So, those of us not going to attend MIT, where will be you attending ? Also continue to do great things out there guys......

  4. I have got to agree with @yjkim192

If the decisions were truly out today and you didn't receive an email, that means you are simply rejected. So let's try to move on guys.

There won't be any other wave of decisions and there is no such thing as releasing admission decisions per labs.

Sorry guys, and congrats to @hopefulstudent1997, I think you are the only one on this thread who has made it in.
