I wasn’t belittling you. If that were the case, (that you had 6 interviews and no offers) I was going to be shocked, and agree with you that something underlying must be present, because you would clearly be a strong candidate if you managed to get 6 interviews. No need to get defensive or snappy. The situation I wrongly perceived was unheard of—for me at least—and made me panic. I only received one interview myself, and so thinking you were saying that you had 6 interviews, and had no luck with any of them, frankly, scared me. I was thinking that I don’t stand a chance. Wait a minute. Am I right in understanding this to mean that you've had 6 interviews, and not one program extended an offer? I hope this is not what you are saying...

Wednesday 2/12 (the stress is clearly getting to me).

Received an email on Wednesday (2/17) from a “Pedro Lopes” who said that the department is “still reviewing applications” and that my “application is under review and still under consideration”. Have you heard anything? I’d wager that by the end of next week we’ll know. This is my last application I’m waiting to hear from, and with 3/4 rejections, this is my last roll of the dice for this year?

This is my question also. I am going to reach out to them today to find out. I remember reading on the website that application will be evaluated according to the order received (and mine was received right on the deadline day).
