Oh interesting! Did you get any more information on how the waitlist works? My email didn't sound that hopeful, though it kept the possibility of an offer open, so I'm wondering if there are different tiers or something.

I'm also on a waitlist at UVA, though they said it was very possible but somewhat unlikely that a spot would open up. (I sent an email to them last week.) I do contemporary lit and critical race theory. Other than UVA's waitlist, I'm a shut out for this season.

I'm not a medievalist (but y'all seem great!) and STILL haven't heard anything either. Still waiting for any word...

Do we think all the Rutgers acceptances are out? Trying to decide if I should hold on to my one last shred of hope or accept a shut out...

Hi all, long time lurker here (just a Rutgers email away from a shutout this season!). Just wanted to say that I've also been ghosted by UVA: I emailed the Grad School and they said all they can tell me is my application is complete and that I'll receive a decision by email by April 1. Gaaahh. There seem to be so many of us who haven't heard that I'm reticent to believe it's a waitlist situation but I'm holding on to a tiny shred of hope. But anyways, knowing other people are in the same boat is keeping me sane at work this afternoon! Fingers crossed for all!
