Has anyone heard anything after accepting admissions? Funding or just a general welcome aboard type thing?

I'll be at Duke Sanford! The funding mixed with the vibe from open house sealed the deal for me.

I just felt it had a really personal touch. At this level, I feel all the schools are offering relatively similar career outcomes and training, I was mostly interested in the "vibe." It just seems VERY personal, with professors already knowing our names before our nametags were on. It was a nice, little touch. I'd love to hear about Harris' day if anyone has any info!

It seems every schools admitted students day was this weekend. Anyone with insightful thoughts? Did they sway you or make you decide to reject? I was at Dukes and I think they sealed the deal for me.

Did anyone else reach out to inquire about more funding? I got put on a reconsideration list

Yea im hoping to be within biking distance at least, walking would obviously be great but its not a huge deal breaker. Im glad to hear that everything ive read and heard is positive about Durham. Were trying to pay less than 1000 bucks a month for a 1BR, and so I'm just trying to figure out regions/locations that would be conducive to that!

I'm wanting to do some kind of social/cultural/educational policy. I want to work on Political campaigns helping candidates develop arts policy or end up lobbying for organizations like the endowment for the arts. Still putting together the framework, but thats what I'm hoping to achieve!
