Yes, you can accept the offer for the mean time. I do know that you just won't get your deposit back if you decide to accept SFU's offer. According to SFU's webinar, they send out offers as late as August.

I got my rejection from UBC. I jist checked the portal today but the update was sent March 15th.

I applied for both. I was accepted in SFU and still waiting for UBC’s response. Before applying to both schools, my first choice had always been SFU mainly because of their more concrete program and its accreditation. The advantage of UBC is that they offer Distributed Learning which means I can still work at my current job. However, upon further thought, I’d rather be a full-time student and just focus on that. ☺️

Hello @pepperonipizza! Yes, thank you. I’ll message you re SFU. ? For UBC, they sent your admission email after office hours, is that right? Im wondering if they stagger the acceptance emails as well. Hoping to hear from them soon!

Ah. Their admissions are so late but I think it makes sense because they fully changed their curriculum to generalized approach. If that’s the case, I am willing to wait! ?

I applied at SFU, too. Haven’t heard back from them. I did some backreading from MPH Canada 2018 thread and SFU only started notifying applicants late March to mid April.
