  1. Just checked the folder. Did not receive an award either. Last name W.
  2. Same goes for Carleton. We get almost $5,500.00 per term so I made close to 11k for two terms this year. That's for 130 hours per term.
  3. Thanks for creating the thread. I've been wondering when uOttawa will have results for OGS. Hopefully it's this week!
  4. I believe this is the case. Here is what I found: "The research subject code (see List of Research Subject Codes for Scholarships and Fellowships) entered in the application will determine the selection committee in which the application will be evaluated. NSERC may assign the application to a different committee if it determines that the subject matter is more appropriate for another committee. The selection committees recommend scholarships for the applications they consider to be most meritorious, according to the selection criteria described in the CGS D program description and within the limit of available awards" I haven't heard anything yet either - PGS-D Cognitive Psychology
  5. Well, no luck getting off the uOttawa wait list this year. All the spots have been filled (portal was changed to refused). Also, received a rejection letter from the NSERC PGSD competition. It came via snail mail and not email... Best of luck to everyone still waiting for scholarships or program offers!
  6. Adding to the rejections... I just received the letter via snail mail (committee is psychology). I didn't receive any email about this. The letter contains no ranking and no mention of an alternate list.
  7. Psychology here... nothing yet.
  8. You are wait listed at uOttawa right? Same here....and it might be a long wait for us . I know someone who got off the wait list a few years ago and they didn't find out until mid April (after the first round deadline went by).
  9. My case is slightly different. I wrote a manuscript with my POI this year so I didn't have an "interview". We already knew each other and talked in person before I submitted the application. And not hearing back doesn't mean anything special. It could mean anything at this point. They are still sending out offers.
  10. I've been lurking here for the past few weeks. I was just informed by my POI that I am on the wait list for uOttawa. No official email and no portal update yet, so no news doesn't necessarily mean you are rejected. There is still hope!
