  1. Hello. I am a registered psychotherapist (qualifying). Psychotherapists basically provide therapy. However, we are not qualified to provide diagnoses. And if we do assessments/diagnostic interviews we have to be supervised by a psychologist. Also most psychotherapists have a master's degree. OISE has a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy that provide its graduates with the minimum requirements to register with CRPO (College of Registered Psychotherapists). I wasn't aware McMaster's had a new program and that's super cool! I think Guelph also has a Family/Marriage Counselling Master's degree as well.
  2. Thank you! Does that mean they have already sent out invites?
  3. Does anyone know when were/will be the departmental interviews for the following schools: 1. Guelph 2. McMaster 3. Ryerson 4. OISE 5. Simon Fraser 6. York
  4. Does anyone know any human being enrolled in the PsyD program at Adler University? And what they think of it?
  5. Well that is scary. And this happens despite the adjunct faculty advertising for new applicants, correct? On the website, they are included in faculty that is accepting new students. That sure does put a spin on the waiting process!
  6. Does anyone know what the selection process is for adjunct faculty members? For example, if my POI is an adjunct faculty member, how do they make selections, when do they receive applications to review and such? Or is it the same process for them as for core faculty?
