I was accepted to UChicago's full-time program today! Congrats to everyone that has heard back so far! 

I GOT ACCEPTED TO U CHICAGO!!!! Email came at midnight!!!

This afternoon, received official notification of U of M acceptance with email/PDF letter after receiving a plain-text email acceptance two weeks ago.

Friends!!!! Just received my acceptance letter from NYU!!!! Applied 1/10 as transfer/advanced standing. 

Just accepted to NYU's Shanghai / NYC program, with 17k scholarship. I'm not sure whether these are going out on a different timeline from the general MSW. 

I just called Columbia to ask some questions about my application and the lady was so so sweet. She said that for anyone who applied early, they are working to get decisions out by the end of January - fingers crossed we’ll hear back within the next week or so!

Just FYI - I have friends who are currently going to CU (they started Fall 2019) and they both got their acceptances Feb 11 and Feb 18 2019 respectively(they applied for the priority deadline) and said that people they knew got acceptances all over the place between Jan, Feb & even later... so I don't think we need to panic right now at all  

Yeah it seems like Columbia only released a small number of decisions yesterday, they sent us a link to the accepted students FB page and only 14 people are on it as of now. Obviously this isn't indicative of how many were accepted but its still clearly only a few, they definitely have a few more waves to send out!

CONGRATS TO EVERYONE!!! CU is an amazing program! I got into Stony Brook University today! :)))) My top choice in state. I will hear back from out of state schools next Monday/March

Good luck everyone! I’m highly considering attending, I really thought I didn’t have a chance. All of you guys are super competitive applicants and I know you guys will start hearing back soon as well!

Those are my two top choices as well! I can't stand to leave New York. At the NYU info session, they said 95% of students receive some sort of financial aid (merit or need based). Hopefully I'll see you at school in the fall

No information on financial aid yet - hopefully that comes out soon though and I will update again when it does (A girl is poor and cannot afford full tuition haha)! I really want to be in the New York area so I’m still waiting on Columbia and then I think I’m going to go for a weekend and visit both schools again before I make a final decision. You’ll definitely hear back soon!

Hi! Haven’t really posted in here but just wanted to share that this morning I woke up to an email from NYU saying that there had been a status update on my application page and received an acceptance to the regular 2 year program! I am so excited and hope more of us receive the same good news today as well!

After weeks of constantly checking my inbox and portal for Hunter's MSW program, I finally got an invitation to interview! For reference, my application was completed in October. The dates they showed for interviews are next week, but I don't live in the US right now so I'll have to schedule mine to do over Skype.

Hello!!!!!! Just got a call from the University of Michigan and was accepted !!!!! Applied for their first deadline in December. SO STOKED

For those who applied to NYU by the Jan 10 deadline, I just spoke to admissions and they said we would hear back on or before Feb 21! 

Also received an acceptance call from UMich today!! They said they are sending out official letters in the next few weeks and will be notifying students later of financial aid packages--hoping this also means merit based scholarships?? Still good news!!

I was thinking the same thing! I do think the timing is pretty arbitrary - just based on when their team reviewed them, not based on admissions decision. But who knows!
