Guys, I got to know that admission results of MPA-EPM (SIPA) have already been declared yesterday. It is confirmed and I have seen the email myself. So, in all likelihood, expect the MPA results today at its regular time. HKS may post its last blog today so that results can be announced tomorrow. Fingers crossed. WWS may also send informal acceptance emails. Adrenaline pumping high, we are finally there, almost!! All the best guys!!

Hi friends!! Just got to share something. I have received my first admit from Ford School, UMichigan for two-year MPP. Apparently, the letter (email) was sent on Friday itself but it goes to Fulbright then from there it goes to concerned mission of the particular country.. Anyways, I am so happy.

All we can hope is that COVID-19 gets contained by Aug-2020. If it doesn’t happen, attending HKS or any such institution won’t matter anyways, and virtual classes will be least of our concerns. Survival will be at stake. Virologists predict that if this virus ? is not contained in next few months, we could be staring at one of the greatest catastrophes ever..

Princeton says following- “Thank you for contacting Woodrow Wilson Graduate Admissions. Decisions will be release on or by March 15, 2020. We appreciate your patience.”

See how good predictor HKS blog-posts are!! 2019 fall saw the same sequence- not admitted, waitlisted, way to notify and then admitted- Just a day before final decisions.. We are on the same path again.. Although I haven’t updated this sheet afterwards but I track it occasionally to know that we are right on track!! So far, it seems 12th it is..

SIPA AdCom says- “Thank you for your message. When a decision has been made, your application portal will reflect the decision. You should expect to hear back by mid-March.”

SIPA Admissions team working hard to meet the deadlines of decision release. Kudos to them and all other universities as well which are working arduously, despite the global outbreak of COVID-19. “Waitlisted” blog is posted on HKS. Next is “Admitted” category- and then the results!! All the best guys once again..

A friend in SIPA has just informed that college is shut temporarily because of Coronavirus outbreak.

Can't be super sure of anything. Just assuming, given previous result dates. For last two years, WWS sends emails one day prior to HKS results which come on Thursday. Putting differently, second Wednesday of March is chosen by WWS for sending unofficial acceptances. This year, it falls on 11 March. As regards SIPA, It usually comes on Monday of the week in which WWS/HKS announce their results. But not enough data points to predict. So, 9-10 could be the date. I am sure SIPA wont release results 'along with'/'after' WWS or HKS. It has always come a day or two earlier. So we only have only 9-11 March. All guesstimate!! Take this with a pinch of salt. Intention is to keep the thread alive and people hopeful. In all likelihood, by the time you go to Pondicherry, you will have received all three results.

Same here!! Booked a room in a nearby resort to spend the weekend with family. But don't know if i will survive till then. ? UMichigan has already declared results, I guess, but I haven't received any emails so far. SIPA may likely announce today or latest tomorrow. WWS may send unofficial email on Wednesday (11-03-2020), so if we don't receive any email from Princeton on 11/12, that may imply a rejection or wait-listing at best. With so much happening in next 4-5 days, survival till weekend deserves celebration. All the best guys!!

Congratulations!! I also had applied to two-year MPP there. Haven’t heard anything. And to my query on when to expect results (yes, I emailed to them as well !! ?), they responded that- “Our admissions decisions will be released via email by mid-March.” Which course had you applied and when did you submit the application?

Let’s just hope so.. BTW I shared my analysis with them in return email and this is the response I got from HKS team- “Very astute! You may know more than me. I was told that the decisions will be made by the end of the month, but it is possible that you will hear back by the end of next week. Keep an eye out, and good luck!“

I had enquired HKS if results could be released by next week. They’ve responded as under- “Thank you for your message. All applications are currently being evaluated and admissions decisions will be released by the end of March.” End of March? Seriously?? ?? We can’t wait anymore.

BTW, you already have an impressive list of acceptances, including some full rides as well. You should be less anxious than us!! ?

Just 8-9 days, including weekends and/or holidays. So, as I have been saying, we should expect the results on Thursday, Mar-12 by 5-6 PM Cambridge, MA, USA time (GMT + 5:00 hours). Latest, it should come early on Friday 13th March.

HKS has come up with a new blog (Post #14) yesterday in their 'application reading and decision process' to discuss about 'not admitted' category of applicants. So, the countdown has officially begun. It takes 8-9 days from this blog post to declare the final result. All the best everyone!!

I also received the email. It is very disappointing to know that MPA/ID isn’t on the list of partners program. Can’t say about preferred program. Anyways, this year, WB is late by about four months in declaring the list.

Hi everyone. I have applied to WWS, HKS, SIPA and Ford School-UMichigan. Usually, WWS sends informal email to accepted candidates couple of days before their official announcement which coincides with HKS results day. Going by previous trends, HKS is supposedly announcing result on 12th March-> WWS official result also on 12th March-> Informal acceptance email on 10th March. See how anxious I am!!

I am sure we will have a say, given we meet out the additional financial requirement of desired course, if any. Otherwise, we may have to take what they offer.

Tricky position.. I sincerely hope you get full ride at HKS. That’s the best possible outcome. Otherwise, I am sure financial consideration outweigh our preferences, so, you may have to choose a college where liabilities don’t go up further.

Good thing!! I have applied for HKS, WWS, SIPA and Ford School. All decisions are expected in next couple of weeks so it’s simple for me to wait for all decisions and then select the optimal (not necessarily the best) course under applicable constraints and cost-benefit analysis. Even in your case, it is anyways advisable to know all your options clearly before taking decisions. So, please wait for some time unless you have a deadline which is earlier than expected date of other results.

We've to wait for more than, or about, 325 hours from now for results!! Try to sleep as many hours as possible.. ? At the cost of repetition, my guess is that result should be announced on March 12, 2020 which is 100th day since application deadline, HKS's favorite day- i.e. Thursday (they keep Friday available for FinAid or any other additional updates) and exactly three weeks early than the MPP campus-visit day scheduled on April 3, 2020.
