Hi, I recently got accepted by Northwestern DGP and WashU DBBS. I'm trying to decide which program I should go. I come from a computational background, but I'd love to further extend my study. My interests are gene expression and regulation in development and disease. I especially want to learn more about stem cell related stuff. Any suggestion? Do you guys have professors of interests in these areas from these two program? Any comments are welcomed!

I just received my rejection from UW Genome Sciences today. Since I didn't hear anything in December, I dreamed something good would happen. But, it's now time to face the reality -- got rejected from my Top1 dream program ?

Has anyone ever received an email from UW genome sciences saying "Our admissions committee will be reviewing applications in December. I expect to have an answer for you by mid-January, if not sooner. "? Does it mean they won't start sending out interview invitations until mid-Jan? This statement can't be confirmed by their historical records... Or it's just another way saying that the only news I'm gonna hear is something bad?... Super anxious:(
