Does anyone know if it is okay to cancel interview after accepting it? I have been accepted to my top choice, and I thought it would be best to cancel interview for some of the programs.. I thought that would open up spaces for other propspective students and save time and energy for both the programa and myself. At the same time, I think canceling after accepting the interview may seem rude and not professional.. What do you guys suggest?

Harvard does not have waitlist for interview. They do have waitlist after interview though. As far as I know, they are done with interview invites, as the interview happens in a week.

for top schools, i think it is usually 40- 50 from which around 30 ppl get accepted?

Also got one from MIT. cognitive science track. I received the email from coordinator. and I am not sure if all the invites been sent out

The program coordinator sent the follow-up email to all the interviewees, and there were 40 ppl in the recipient list.

I received it on 12 23. I also think that all the invites have been sent.

based on the past interview invitations record, harvard ssqb doesnt seemto send out invitations in a batch ?

For Harvard PiN, I dont think there is second round of interview. Also, the interview is third week of Jan. Since the invitation email required us to reply back by Monday, I think all the invitation has been sent.

Thank you Major: CS, Neuroscience double major GPA: 3.99 publication: 1 published + 1 under review Multiple posters and fellowship awards International with 1.5 yrs of postbac experience Hang in there.. I also think that it is too early for despair yet.

I have a sense that the email is being sent throughout the day. I just received an invitation, which is a few hours later than the initial post on gradcafe.
