  1. I basically used the same referees for all of my applications (the exception was if a school required 3 academic references instead of 2). I applied to six programs plus CGSM and OGS funding for each school. Once a professor writes you a letter, it's really not too much work for them to submit the same letter to various schools if the criteria is similar. The worst thing that can happen is a prof tells you they can't do it. However, I find that most referees that know you well (especially if it's a supervisor or prof you have a good relationship with) will be more than happy to help out.
  2. Did anyone on this forum get an offer from York CD? If so, please dm me!
  3. Would the second York University poster be willing to share the initials of the POI that accepted them please either by posting or DM. I'd really appreciate it!
  4. Hi! I specified the CD program in my email but it's very possible that the response was targeted towards both programs.
  5. I emailed admissions to ask if interviews are still being sent out and, if so, whether there is a deadline for sending out invites. I was told that they are still sending out invitations this week and that interview day will take place on Feb. 26th. Hope this helps!
  6. If you were waitlisted at Ryerson (and feel comfortable), would you mind liking this message. I'm curious how many people were waitlisted. Thanks
  7. Can the person who posted that they received an official invitation to the Ryerson Graduate Visiting Day on the Results page please message me. I'm curious if this was from a POI or the actual admissions committee? Thanks in advance!
  8. Congratulations! That's very exciting news! Was the email from the admissions committee?
  9. Will the person who just posted a question about Ryerson on the results page please message me? Thanks!
  10. Nope. As long as you click submit, you're all good. To double check, go to your supporting documents page and it will show you that the document has been received
  11. Hi! That happened to me as well. If you sign in to your passport york, it just lets you see the preview of your document. Otherwise, rather than clicking preview, you can select submit underneath the preview button.
  12. Hey! I was definitely confused about this too. I spoke to a graduate student and from my understanding, if you select the English stream, then you still must fulfill some second language requirement throughout your degree. I believe this could be fulfilled by taking a French language course (or there are other options as well).
  13. I have a question for any grad student who was accepted after reapplying to the same prof. Specifically, if I interviewed with a prof last year and am planning on reapplying to them, do I need to write a completely new personal statement?
  14. I just checked and the SCCP and CCP are both updated now.
  15. In addition to the above comments, I thought this UTSC tip sheet is helpful in deciding if being a psychotherapist is of interest (the page lists typical program requirements, differences between similar professions, etc.). https://www.utsc.utoronto.ca/aacc/counselling-and-psychotherapy
  16. Just as a side note, your GRE scores are excellent (and much higher than many applicants)!
  17. Yes, you're correct. The only thing is you have to send the quant, verbal and writing scores from the same test. You're not allowed to pick and choose (e.g., if your quant score was higher on the first test, but your verbal was higher on the second).
  18. I was wondering whether anyone would recommend still writing that you were offered CGSM on your CV but declined the offer (because I was not admitted to the actual school/program)? Is there a certain way to word this? Thanks!
  19. Hey! I checked before and the warning was there prior to your email.
  20. Has anyone received an acceptance to OISE's SCCP program? Or has anyone been in contact with a POI or admissions regarding when decisions will be made and sent out? Thanks!
  21. Hey! Regardless, that is hopeful and exciting news! What school/program?
