As of right now, it still looks like GRE is required for PhD applicants. And from no earlier than 9/1/16, to boot! I have a score from January 2016. Even if I wanted to retake the test at home (I've heard some negative things, especially for ADHD folks like me), I can't afford it because this pandemic ruined my finances. (I don't qualify for the fee waiver, and even if I did – it doesn't look like a full waiver? Just half?). Plus, standardized tests are garbage, especially for disabled folks like me. Between this and the application fees, it's just shocking at the ways in which these institutions can preach about educational equity and reform when they're the ones continually upholding every effing systemic barrier they can.

Yeah, I STILL haven't gotten my rejection from BC! Come on, guys. It's mid-March already! I obviously know I'm not in, so just tell me!

Since HGSE wasn't accepting anyone this year, I did... one. But that one is a really good match for me (I just hope they can see that!). It really depends on what you're looking for in a program. The good news is that searching for results is super easy!

I saw someone post about getting an interview at BC for the C&I PhD. Does anyone know if they've contacted everyone en masse, or are they doing people one by one? (I'd like to know how much hope I should have.)

PhD, Curriculum and Instruction. From what I can see, it looks like historically they've asked for interviews mid-January. I'm checking my phone NONSTOP, even though I know this is a weird year.

Echoing the folks who haven't heard from Brown. A little paranoid, especially since one of my recommendations came in really late. I also saw that someone put a rejection on the results page, too, so... maybe?
