  1. Did any of the alternates ever hear back?
  2. I am personally not planning on doing it. It is a personal choice because if I do so, I might switch from talking in a conversational way to talking in a more automatic/presentation way, but that is just me. It's a matter on you deciding what works best for you, but I do know a lot of peers who will be showing small 1-3 summary slides, so schools are not actually against it.
  3. Just got the email from Rockefeller as well! I am very excited about this interview and wish everyone who is interviewing there the best of luck! We all got this!
  4. I know right, they usually don't send invites after Jan 8th or 9th. At least that's what I got from looking at previous years in the results section. Maybe we'll hear something today or tomorrow, who knows.
  5. Still no word from Rockefeller, right? What is taking them so long? ?
  6. Same here! I am very excited about this interview, good luck!
  7. This is the daily bread here at The Grad Café! Crazy AF.
  8. No... I am hoping to hear back from them too, as well as from MIT Bio. Fingers crossed! ??
  9. Hi everyone! Good luck with your applications this season! I applied to 12 programs... and I do not know where the transcripts issue is coming from... very few schools require official transcripts at the time of admissions. If the application has a space to upload the transcript, you just upload your scanned unofficial transcript and do not send the official one 'till after you are accepted and decide to enroll in such program. No need for unnecessary anxieties... I think that just waiting to be contacted about interviews is stressful enough.
  10. So, I do have the same question, but in my case I was already interviewed by them, but haven't officially received my rejection yet. You can always email the program with that question and they can give you a more official answer so that you can make an informed decision.
  11. Hi, Just be yourself. They are very inclined towards hiring you, but want to get to know the person behind the personal statement and the amazing qualities in the application. Expect questions such as "Why not a PhD now?","Strengths/Weaknesses", and the typical "Tell me about yourself." Always make sure to not make it all about your challenges, but on how they contributed to your goals and have been steps in your career. Best of luck!
  12. Hello to all last year NIH PREP applicants. I hope you're all safe, healthy, and up to great things in your career, despite our national emergency. If anyone here has been interviewed by Harvard RSI, can you DM please? Be safe!
  13. Same here! I already committed to University of Washington, but Harvard was one of my top choices (above UW), I do not know what to do.
  14. I ended up committing to University of Washington. Anyone else heard from or is going there?
