Can the credits for the practicum be used towards the 60 credits needed without counting the 0 which comes from the pass/fail aspect of the course?- 1,373 replies

Casper results in for anyone? This is first year they're releasing results. And any comments from those accepted in years past with what they think might have been less than stellar Casper results? And how much you think McGill and U of A pay attention to the Casper results?- 1,373 replies

Hi there, I've got a small Dalhousie Paper-Based Application Form Question. On page 2 it asks: "Have you ever applied to, attended or worked for Dalhousie University, University of King's College or the former TUNS? Yes or No. If yes, please provide your ID #" So I applied to the SLP program last year, was rejected, and so did not receive an ID #. Question: Do I say Yes even though I have no ID#? Thanks for any clarification on this small point. I don't know if this question is on the online application form too.- 1,373 replies

Thanks for the FYI! I believe other unis allow you to upload docs later. And on that point, must you also submit a transcript at the same time even if you're currently taking courses, and will later have an updated transcript?- 1,373 replies

Hi again, were you surprised that you were not given an offer by Western either the first or the second time, though your waitlist would likely have converted? I've heard they are more into experience than sGPA and it would seem you satisfied that with all the volunteering, plus had a decent sGPA. Also, besides Western and U of T what were the other unis you applied to? Thank you!!!- 1,373 replies

Hi there, another question related to this response.... I'm curious to know which courses you chose that were in the general interest category and may be helpful for later on. I'm wondering about whether to do that or retake some prereq courses I already have in an effort to boost the grade. Thanks again!- 1,373 replies

Great, to know this info. Thanks so much. Assuming you already had all prereqs taken care of, on what basis did you choose courses to up your sGPA with and how many courses did you take each of those two years to up the sGPA?- 1,373 replies

2022 program applicant here, just wondering if anybody accepted to U of A had a B- or lower in any of the prerequisites? Just wondering about the need to re-take courses.

Hi there, This message is to U of A people in particular: I'm wondering if anyone got accepted with a degree that was not at all in the speech sciences, psychology, or linguistics area, but the pre-requisites were satisfied?
