  1. Thank you! I was accepted at Ohio State, and will most likely accept but am just waiting to hear back from UC Irvine so I have all the possible information. It is a big accomplishment to be waitlisted, it means you are a very strong applicant - so much of it just comes down to chance since their are ridiculously few spots. I am a re-applicant and get how stressful the process is. Best of luck with everything, feel free to message me if I can help in any way!
  2. To the person who posted about UC Irvine clinical psych PhD yesterday - huge congrats on your acceptance!! If you feel comfortable messaging me with your PI's initials I would greatly appreciate it . I interviewed with DN and am waiting to hear back but am holding another admissions offer.
  3. People who are waitlisted for an interview at Georgia State - how did you find out? Feel free to message me ?
  4. Also applied to the same PIs ? I’d love to stay connected with you all throughout this process.
  5. Hoping that to most programs “mid-January” means this week! ?
  6. I’ve seen these schools listed (and Utah has interviews this week), but haven’t seen these PIs mentioned so I’m curious if anyone has heard from.. YS at University of Utah FH at Penn State University KC at University of Nebraska-Lincoln
  7. I think I used this site a lot when I was looking for jobs a couple years ago. https://www.hercjobs.org/ You might also want to check out open positions at specific universities (though this can be a pain if you're looking all over).
  8. I am not a talkative person at all and was able to talk to my POI in a preliminary interview for an hour! It will be ok! Think about what you might answer to questions like "tell me about yourself," "tell me about your research experience/interests." I would say you should just have an idea of their research focus, types of methods they use, and ask them what studies are in progress or coming up, but definitely don't need to thoroughly read all their papers - they won't quiz you on their papers but you should just be able to express that you have similar interests. Have a list of questions ready in case there is time to fill
  9. It’s a labor of love haha. I also applied to University of Utah and haven’t heard anything back yet
  10. I can't figure out how to edit my original post ?, so here is an update for clinical psych PhD program interview dates from invites or websites: (CUDCP has added some of these dates to their calendar https://teamup.com/ks952632ef38687f3e but if anyone wants to make a google calendar be my guest!) 13. It would be great to start making a calendar of known interview dates to anticipate potential scheduling conflicts! I'm particularly interested in clinical psych PhD programs. Here are the ones I know so far: The Ohio State University 1/9 University of Georgia 2/8 UT Austin 1/29-1/30 & 2/12-2/13 Kent State University 2/20 Georgia State University 2/10 & 2/12 University of Nebraska-Lincoln 2/19-2/21 SDSU-UC San Diego 2/8 & 2/9
  14. Hello ?? I’m wondering if there’s some kind of site to coordinate letters of recommendation... or any way to avoid letter writers having to upload letters to each individual school? I’m applying to 17 clinical psych PhD programs and I feel bad that it’s such a pain for them to upload it 17 times on different sites ?
