i'm also very confused ?? i feel like if they had a waitlist they would let us know, rather than say they're 'in the review process'? i'm leaning towards thinking that they're trying to sort out funding?

I was also told they're still in the review process! According to gradcafe there was one person who got an offer March 3rd?

People have been trolling about Columbia TC for a while now... I'm not sure I would 100% trust that post.

I haven't received a formal rejection from UNC yet. I had a preliminary interview, but never made it to the final interview round, and the PI I interviewed with told me I remained on a shortlist for consideration. It's possible this might be the case for you too?

For those of you who are applying year after year consecutively, I am wondering... how? If I don't get in anywhere I'm thinking of applying to a new research coordinator position, but these positions usually require 2 year commitments, which means I'll have to wait 2 years until reapplying? What kind of positions do you currently have?

Ah it's good to hear from you and I'm sorry you haven't heard back either. Btw, I also applied to Teachers College Columbia (clinical PhD) but I wouldn't assume it's a rejection! Their website says they will send out invites in Feb for their interviews in March. I really hope you get in somewhere!!!

I similarly got rejected from Fordham, and I'm feeling so discouraged because I feel like this is an indicator that the rest of my applications that I'm waiting to hear back about will go in a similar direction. I did think I would get some interviews (I have 3 years research and clinical experience, 3 pubs (one first author), good GPA and LORs) but I haven't heard back from anyone so far re: interviews. I really don't mean to brag, I'm just feeling so confused and am wondering if these stats are simply not good enough, because I don't think there's a ton more than I can improve on.

Do we think all the UAlbany interview invites have gone out?

I haven't yet! I emailed the DCT back in early Dec about an application error and she told me faculty had started reviewing applications, but that she had no information so far about interviews.

has anyone heard from rutgers phd? i am starting to freak out because in previous years they have sent out interview invites by jan 15
