Going4DrPH

Yeah I'm excited about Tulane (and glad to finally know where I'm going!).
I had been waitlisted at Hopkins and Boston. I didn't realize Boston's DrPH cohort was so small. I knew someone said 6 in here, but just reading it in the final decision letter was like, wow! Glad to know that even if I wasn't accepted, they still thought I was a great candidate!

Just formally declined hopkins DrPH and accepted UNC DrPH program. Would love to connect with others heading to UNC! And good luck to those of you on waitlists, hoping something comes through for you soon!

Hi everyone, I formally accepted to the NYU DrPH program  I'd also like to connect with others going to NYU!
I declined my DrPH offers at UIC, UAlbany, Colorado, and UT Austin. (still haven't heard back from Drexel lol)
 
Hope folks hear back from programs/waitlists soon!

Also just got a rejection from UC Berkeley’s DrPH program. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions the past month!!
 
Good luck to everyone starting programs in the fall, folks still waiting for decisions, and those who are reapplying. This was my 2nd application cycle and worked so hard to get to this stage! I’m also thrilled to say I accepted a fully funded offer from UCLA’s PhD in CHS last week! Just got accepted into NYU's DrPH program!! ❤️❤️

Hello everyone,
Completed the University of South Florida DrPH Laboratory Science and Practice interview this AM and immediately received acceptance to the Fall 2021, 7 student cohort following the call.  I was completely shocked and actually shed a tear.  It was the only program I applied to since the program is looking for very specific laboratory experience, licensure and MPH background.
Interestingly enough, I had emailed them this Tuesday inquiring about the status of my app and 10 minutes later received the interview request email.  I was a bit skeptical thinking that they may have forgotten about me and offered me a "token" interview but I guess I was wrong.

just got accepted to Colorado DrPH (Community Health & Behavior). I interviewed with them on March 3. offer included a very tiny stipend + assistantship + some tuition remission for a few credits.
a bit surprised actually, still processing the offer haha. supposedly they accept 2-3 per cohort

Just found out yesterday evening that I've been accepted into the TAMU School of Public Health for DrPH in Public Health Sciences with a concentration in Environmental Health degree program! Crossing my fingers for those that are still waiting! ?

Hi everyone. I've been lurking for quite awhile, but just posting for the first time. Thanks to everyone who has been posting along the way- it's been extremely helpful to know that other people are having the same feelings of anxiety, excitement and everything in between! I've heard back from most of the schools I applied to and it has certainly been a rollercoaster.
Current status:
Accepted: BU DrPH
Waitlisted: Harvard DrPH
Rejected: UC Berkeley DrPH, GW DrPH
Still waiting: Rutgers DrPH, Drexel DrPH
Harvard's waitlist letter wasn't very encouraging so not holding my breath, but exciting to make it that far nonetheless. Will likely go with BU as I have no desire to go through this application cycle again, but will wait until all decisions are made to finalize.

Also waitlisted at BU DrPH. Felt the same way about my interview. I thought their letter (which I assume was the same for all waitlist folks) was very nice and emphasized how competitive this year was. Also waiting on Rutgers (and GW).

I interviewed and I think the interview went well, there were just a lot of awesome folks applying this year. So I still feel happy about being on the wait list.

Hoping to have that last school decision this week (that's just an estimate).

After a sea of rejections, I can finally say, WE DID IT JOE!!! ???? Just  received my first ever PhD acceptance courtesy of UMD. Wow wow wow! 

I was accepted to Colorado Environmental DrPH too! Congrats!! 
Still waiting on GW and BU DrPH - interviewed but no rejection yet. 

I just got accepted into the DrPH in Community Health Practice program at UT-Houston!! ❤️

I heard from Berkeley DrPH (acceptance w/o an interview) in early Feb. Maybe they do interviews on "as needed" basis? Perhaps they are waiting to send out waitlist until they get a touch more confirmation/clarity from their first wave of acceptances. 

Accepted into GW DrPH today, and accepted to Colorado Environmental Health DrPH yesterday.

To all of the aspiring DrPHers: My husband graduated last year with a DrPH. While he was a student, he started an org called the DrPH Coalition with classmates and colleagues across different DrPH programs. It's an awesome network of DrPH students and alum. The group aims to build a community of DrPHers, bring awareness to the degree, and advocate for more DrPHers in public health leadership positions. They organize events to hear from leaders with DrPH degrees, among other things. Check it out!

Hi friends, I too got admission to JHU DrPH (Quality & Safety). Really excited and bit beyond belief since I dont have public health background. 
 

I got into Tulane's DrPH program!!!!
I am so shocked and I am feeling so blessed! I got the news today around 4:30 and I'm still shook lol. I'm also really excited to potentially work with my advisor and be in NOLA - which is one of my favorite cities in the country.
Still waiting on 4 other schools: GW, Hopkins, BUSPH (interviewed), and Rutgers. Honestly, I'm just grateful to have gotten in somewhere. Every other decision will just be icing on the cake. Praying for options, but pretty happy with this one if it ends up being my only acceptance!
