Hi everyone, I figured a separate thread like this may be helpful in case anyone would like to know the timelines for programs sending acceptances/waitlists/rejections. We can model it after the same thread from Clinical/Counseling. I know some of us have been posting this info in the master School Psychology PhD 2021 thread, but maybe it will be useful to have it here so the information is organized and more accessible.

In general, does it seem that S.P. programs are slower to respond than the clinical programs? That's what it seems like based on this site.

I did a year in a School Psych doc program a few years ago and when I interviewed, questions were mostly focused on career goals, practical experience in education (I had been a teacher, so they may have targeted those questions given my experience), and what I would look for out of a dissertation committee. Honestly, the bulk of the questions were casual (e.g. "What are you reading right now?") and I got ~6 min with each professor. I will say that when I helped with interview weekend for the next cohort, though, questions were more intense. They had a large focus on social justice, so they decided to crack down on those questions and included questions like, "How would you describe your racial identity?" and "How do you confront racism?".

Hi everyone! I just applied for an EdS in School Psychology. I applied to Northeastern, UMass Amherst, UMass Boston, Tufts, and Worcester State. I am really hoping to go to Northeastern but we'll see!

    Hello all,
I am new to this site but I am so happy I found it! I am MA based and finishing up my last year of undergrad in CT. I have applied to all MA/MS programs for School Psych and hoping to return to Boston to continue my graduate studies. So far, I have received interviews from three of the schools I applied to!
I was just wondering if anyone had any insight/ general advice on what to expect for an interview... I have done plenty of research on the schools I applied to, but am getting very nervous for them haha and just trying to prepare myself!
Thanks so much in advance :)
