My heart skipped a beat when I saw a large amount of money on the MYFAID system.....turns out that's just the amount of loans I'm eligible for. Guess no financial aid for me

I emailed the International Fellow Program program assistant to find out if decisions were linked to admissions letters and received this message:
"Accepted students were notified in their SIPA admissions letters. Unfortunately you were not accepted into the Fellowship this year. If you decide to enroll at SIPA, we invite you to apply again during your first year for potential placement in your second year."
    Womp.

I'm on the same boat as well. I received limited funding for SAIS but no word on funding for SIPA as of yet. I have always thought of SIPA as the more well known school in terms of IR. Now is the hard part of weighing my options and finding external funding

all things considered, I don’t know if one of the programs is “better” than another. I feel like location is a big factor here for me, and Italy AND DC seem to match me better than NYC. That being said, there’s a chance I am just ignorant to the ways SIPA is “better” because I haven’t done my research yet.

Weirdly, Stanford MIP did release decisions at 7:48pm (I did not get in).

My gmail account keeps placing Columbia University ADVERTISEMENTS at the top of my promotions folder. My heart skips a beat every time. I keep getting them for Georgetown too, though I didn't apply there, so it's not quite the same effect.
Good luck to everyone! Regardless of how the decisions go, congrats on finishing the application process, because man it was brutal this year. I hope to be ~policymaking~ with some of you down the line.
