Yes. I was waitlisted last year and I was never notified on any movement off of it but I think it's still worth being placed on it because you never know what could happen. They say it's an unranked waitlist but I don't believe them lmao. -

Nothing from U of T 2 year yet. Hoping the admissions committee found my application amazingly mediocre and are mulling over a last chance acceptance. Congrats! -

Damn well done. Was that 3000 hour increase through full time work, volunteering, or both? Im already planning out how I can beef up my application for the third attempt. Looking at different volunteer opportunities and FT work. Well done getting on the first try. Looks like I'm going on my third attempt after this round. What was your experience/CV like? To be fair to myself, I straight up thought I was going to be rejected last year so getting waitlisted was a shock. I guess I just have to fine tune the third application to the T. -

What would you say you changed between your first time applying and getting waitlisted to this year applying and getting accepted? -

Crazy how you can get into one highly competitive program and not another. You got into U of T, no? Congrats. All the best, Clarification edit: Not a jab at you. Just a comment on how crazy the application process is. -

Thanks for your insight. I have been thinking of relocating (post-MSW) to Alberta because Ontario is just outrageous when it comes to housing and cost of living but I am hesitant because how different it is culturally/politically. -

Dilemma Time. My backup program (A Social Service Diploma) at a college has fees due in a couple days for their start in the summer but I am really want to get into to U of T's 2-Year program. However if we are not going to hear back until at least a month from U of T, I really have no idea what to do. -

It's rough. It feels like I'm competing against people with a wall of achievements in comparison to mine. Best of luck out there. -

It sounds crazy coming from me but I was in the same boat last year with checking everything. Try to take breaks from the crazy refresh cycle (e.g. checking emails 24/7), the letter/email will come, give yourself some space away from it all. Good luck. -
