You could ask to have an extension of a month... they may be accommodating considering NYU did that for one of my friends.

Hi there......just waiting to hear back about Laurier as well....does anyone have any word on when that should be?

UofT was mid-late March, but I was waitlisted and heard on April 9 so they do acceptances before that! 

Received my official acceptance email from Dal today and looks like deposits need to be in by March 8th. Any idea when UofT and Laurier sent out acceptances for their 2-year program in past years?

I applied to Mcmaster (critical analysis) and York as well. Hopefully we hear back soon!

I'm a new BSW grad and applied to U of T and Waterloo. I am not super confident in my application packages this round but am still anxiously waiting as I expect we hear in the next couple weeks?! Good luck to everyone!!

Ok so weird turn of events. I just got a letter from Dal (may have arrived yesterday I am not sure) and its not an acceptance.. not a refusal.. not a waitlist.. a conditional acceptance? Has anyone received something like this?
The Master of Social Work Admissions Committee is pleased to notify you that it has recommended acceptance of your application to the Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies [...] Although the School has recommended your admission to the Dean, the final decision on your admission including any conditions related to it will be made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies. If our recommendation for your admission is approved, the University Registrar will email you an official letter of acceptance in the coming weeks.
I mean, I am not complaining, but maybe they could have waited until a decision had been made before sending a letter?

On the Dalhousie note - does anyone know when we need to submit our deposit by? Dalhousie is the only school I have heard back from so far but it's not my first choice..

omg thank you for sharing, that definitely makes me feel better! it was hard to hit 2 pages for sure, and sometimes it didn't feel necessary, so this is reassuring 

Just checked application standing and saw that a week ago my application shifted from being submitted to "assessment pending". its so exciting to know that we're getting closer to when acceptances will be released, but it made me nervous just the same :') 

finally built up the courage to open my Dal letter... i got in!!!!!! i am in disbelief. the portal has also been updated

My status never changed on Carleton 360. It still says Preliminary Review Required. My status has changed on Carleton Central. Used to say Preliminary Review Required and then it changed to Recommended for Assessment. 
I heard on previous threads that you should check Carleton Central over Carleton 360 but at this point, I wouldn't worry too much because the email they sent to us says all applications have been given full consideration regardless of the status.

I was accepted into the program last year (wasn't able to attend in the end) and you can rest assured I did not write 2 pages for each exam question! I think the quality of your answers matter more than length

I was just accepted to Windsor MSWwp (non-bsw). I had about 7000 hours and a 3.5 GPA in the last two years. I have a BA (Hons) in psychology and social service worker diploma.
