  7. I am not in Art History, so I cannot answer everything. Basically, yes, you are right in thinking that most MA programmes are unfunded. I am not sure whether there are any MA ratings. I suggest you study previous Art History threads on this forum to get a sense of which schools may offer money for MA candidates; also, have a look at the Results section as sometimes people post details of their financial offers there. As for POI - opinions differ but it commonly understood as Point of Information - the faculty you have been in correspondence with prior to applying. I would strongly recommend contacting the faculty (whose academic interests match yours and with whom you'd like to work) prior to applying. ... Unless it is explicitly stated in the school website not to bother the faculty... (but even then, you could ).

  10. This sounds strange indeed. Call them up! Usually, things get sorted out way quicker over the phone! All the best!

  13. It is a decision that only you can make. You know your situation and what you want out of postgraduate studies better than anyone else. A good thing is that you can't lose. Both programmes are fantastic; you got full funding everywhere; and, most importantly, you can see yourself in both places! So don't stress out too much - yes, choosing is hard, but you are in an excellent position to be in! Perhaps, try imagine yourself in 10 years, think of what it is you want to do, and perhaps then the path gets a bit clearer! The very best with your choice!

  18. I am not in your field but I just wanted to point out: On the graduate level, and especially for international students, 'Ivy' means very little. Some fantastic schools are not Ivies, and then the Ivy League includes a couple that makes you raise an eyebrow. Whatever you choose, however, you should be fine! Both are excellent schools!
