Hi everyone! I am intending to apply to UofT, McMaster, and UWO Speech and Language Pathology programs in the upcoming application cycle (2027). I would love to hear everyone's experience applying (process, interviews, etc.), where they got their prerequisites, what volunteer/work opportunities they had going into the application cycle, etc. I am a little worried that I have to take three prerequisites (one more physiology course, one linguistics course, and one phonetics course), and I'm not sure if I can pull that off before applications open. Does anyone have any experience getting their prerequisites and applying within the same year? Another question I had was about UofT's prerequisites. I majored in Psychology and took several courses that were related to child development or talked about child language acquisition, but upon looking at UofT's list of accepted prerequisites, I found out that none of those are accepted as valid prerequisites. Is there any way I could reach out to the department and explain my case, or would that be frowned upon? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
