I am concerned about this MICA switch up thing also!!!!! Very weird that it has happened to several people! On a separate note, but still concerning MICA, this is the email Chris sent me in reponse to a question I asked him today: Thanks for your email--each program conducts their interview schedules slightly differently. I believe that Rinehart will be contacting finalists for interviews over the next few weeks, thought I am not sure how many they intend to interview. As will all of our programs, interviews are not a pre-requisite for admission. Thank you, But this all sorta seems like BS. I dont know what to think! Why are they so evasive? Just tell us already!

WOW, congrats to MICA Mt Royal interviews! I'm so freakin bummed though that I didnt get one!!!!!!! and if they already sent out Rinehart interviews I guess that means MICA is off my list... I really thought Rinehart might ne my place, I love the work and I thought I might really fit in well there, but I guess the feeling wasnt mutual!!!!!!

Thanks for letting me know.. do you know if Rinehart has finished the review process and sent out all the interview invites?

I know a couple of people have heard from MICA for GD and illustration... but does anyone know ANYTHING about Mt Royal or Rinehart???????????????????????????????????????????????

same here about northwestern!!!! : ( but your work is incredible!!! Very cohesive and interesting. I totally thought you were more than a year out of undergrad! their loss. Some people hear stuff on weekends, so you never know. I wish NW would go ahead and post the rejections on the admissions portal so I could feel resolved about it!

Yes I applied to the MFA program, I am sculpture. there are a couple other people that said they also got interviews, so I guess they are changing things up this year. I dont know what to think since they say it is not a part of the process????????

I'm so bummed thatI didnt hear from Northwestern.... I feel pretty sure they would have notified me already if I was to have an interview!!!!!! DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really liked that program and the funding (and Chicago) but oh well on to the next one, right!!! There isnt a rejection email yet so maybe ther is still a chance (that sounds desperate)! Essentially 3 down and 8 more to go!

I was skeptical about his also. In fact just two minutes before I recieved the email about the interview, I had recieved a response to an email I had written PennDesign admissions asking specifically about interviews. the email the admissions person sent me said simply, "interviews are NOT a part of the admissions process" ?????????????? Literally imediately after that I got the eamil directly form the director of the MFA program, so.... I dont know what to think. I know that last year they didnt interview, so perhaps this is new for them. Godd luck! and I will let you know...

I am thinking if I dont hear from Northwestern today than I am out for that school... last year they sent our most of the interviedws on the same day : (

got an interview for next tuesday with Penn design at 11:30 even though just before I got that emailI got an email respinse from an administrator saying that they DID NOT cunduct interviews!!! YAY what a relief to at least HEAR form someone.

I hear ya!! One of my professor is technologically inept and just wouldnt/couldnt figure out how to upload the letters. So ON THE DAY THEY WERE DUE I had to call him 15 times and even have another professor go to his house and help him do it!!!!! HAND HOLDING!!!!!! I'm so grateful for what they did for me but I'm sure its easy to forget how important this is when you have been a professor for a long time! call and see if anything can be done....

@Lisad333 what did the email say exactly? if you dont mind me asking? Did they indicate they were conducting a number of interviews?

hey its cool I would totally feel the same way if I was you. Just call them FIRST thing in the morning, and try and relax... I know it wont be easy, but I'm sure they will try and work with you!!

you know I would just call them and make sure all of your info was received and that it was passed along to the professors. Cant hurt just to say that you had noticed that your website hasnt had any hits from that area and you just wanted to make sure there weren't technical difficulties.

me too, I dont know how I feel at this point! I'm actually sort of exhausted from obsessing about it. I moved to the mountains for the winter and I think some serious ski therapy is in order. I need to see if I can go several days without looking at this forum and all of my school admissons sites 10 times an hour.

I saw that last year people were hearing fomr Northwestern on the 7th or soon there after for rejections and interviews. I havent seen anyone post anything about it this year, and I'm starting to wonder why I havent heard anything at all from them????

I'm sort of surprised we havent heard from Northwestern. I'm going CRAZY!!!!!!!!
