Just check my UT Austin status on the website... denied. Oh man, I really hope it's not a repeat of last year. Please please please!

Okay, I call shenanigans on the UT Austin acceptance that I was just posted. They didn't notifiy until the end of February last year. I am not ready to start worrying about a school I knew I could put out of my mind for a few more weeks!

Argh Im on my phone and I accidently down voted you. Some one vote Curlicue up to make up for my fat thumb!!! But yes I agree. I think in a few years we'll be major players in the field of grad age historiography.

My first instinct was to cross check our schools and then go see for myself. But yeah the only one we have in common is BC and it seems mostly like a material tracker. I second the motion to call/email!!!

Yes, I still have 9 more perfectly viable options! Don't worry, I know that rejection is highly likely (I went 1/4 last year). And I guess I only have one more try before I quit being a damn fool! Heheh!

So my hope has adequately dwindled of getting the good (1). I won't say it's a full out rejection, but things are not looking great for good ol' Notre Dame and I.

You'd be surprised at how slow life moves in this office. It's a snail covered in molasses kind of pace. Plus, I spent all morning unable to do any work which sucked.

The interview email! Did it seem personalized or did it say "dear applicant"? From the DGS, is what I assume. I just wanted to suss out if it really was a bcc to all those invited or if I should keep hoping.

Aw don't feel bad! I'm happy that someone here can claim it. Can you give us details? From reading the past results, it seemed like the email was bcc'ed to everyone at once. I'll try to relax some... I am just kinda bored at work with nothing better to do than file things and obsess over this place.

Oh and there is it... interview for Notre Dame. Anyone wanna claim it and give details? My heart has sunk!

That's exciting for you! But it makes me sad since I know which school that probably is (one we both applied to?). Oh well, I guess people will hear back in a week! I'm hoping I'm one of them!!

Wall, there's a UC Irvine acceptance up on the big board now. Congrats to whomever that is! (I vaguely remember saying something about UCI... was it an acceptance? Remind me and I'll congrats you better).

I'm starting to think that maybe Notre Dame notified its interviewees and none of them are aware of this place. If not that, they aren't doing interviews this year. If not either, I'm going crazy, because I wish something/anything would happen to take my mind of the small chance that I'll even get an interview.
