    I'm thinking the same thing. Also with Stanford. Why has the anthro side of the results section been so quiet the past few days? I think I refresh that just as much as I refresh my inbox. Anyone else still waiting on their first decision to come back?

    I had a dream I was surfing in California with my cat (see avatar). I'm not sure if that qualifies as any sort of supernatural indicator but it was a nice change of dream-pace seeing how I've been so anxious lately. Good vibes to everyone, especially those like me who have yet to receive any decisions!

    I was 22 entering my Master's program and I'll be 24 entering a PhD program (with hope!). My current program has a range of ages since the department offers a 5 year MA for undergrads. I don't think age or appearance has anything to do with being taken seriously. It has far more to do with being a decent person to your colleagues and being articulate when you speak up in class.

    btw, does it creep anyone else out when someone threatens a program or writes that they'll regret not admitting the person?

    I made a filter in my email account to forward anything that included the word "Congratulations" to my phone (because I don't have a smart phone of course). Today I received two. "--My Name--, Congratulations on earning your Bachelor of Science diploma from --my undergrad that I graduated from 2 years ago...---....etc etc. Buy our beautiful hand crafted frames to put it in!" . The second was the same email for my Bachelor of Arts diploma. Expletive, expletive, expletive.
