  1. 1. Firefly 2. Serenity 3. That 70's Show 4. The Mighty Boosh and, pretty much anything on the History Channel, the Science Channel, and National Geographic I deal with my stress by watching television so I have watched a lot lately.
  2. I would email. I don't think a polite follow up could hurt.
  3. For my undergrad I ended up with a 3.12, and that's after getting mostly A's and some B's for a year and half. I was at 2.55 before. I took eighteen hours of graduate education work at a 4.0. I'm looking to go into Special Education. So I know how it feels.
  4. Yes, you are supposed to wear green to avoid getting pinched!
  5. Very true, ikatticus, that would probably be too much for me. People here in Kansas City take their St. Patrick's Day festivities pretty serious : )
  6. I get to work...yay...I love my retail job.
  7. These stories frighten me to my very core:O
  8. Yeah, I would definitely look at your earning potential once you are out of school.
  9. Wow, that's a lot of money. I would really have to reconsider going back if it was going to cost me that much. I want to be a teacher so i will not be making all that much once I get out. How come you are not eligible for any funding? Is there any other assistance that you could get?
  10. I think that's mean but maybe they want you to feel positive about the progress of your application. I'm glad I did not get an email that said that. Mine was straight to the point "your application is under review by the admission committee." I still walked around the whole day grinning like an idiot "omg! An ADMISSION committee is reviewing MY application! Eeee!!" It would have definitely rubbed me the wrong way to have "Congratulations" somewhere on the website. Getting peoples hopes up only to make them wait some more.
  11. Yes, this whole process has me bouncing between happily hopeful, anxious, and then depressed. I had no idea it was going to be so stressful. Everything was all fun and games until I submitted my first application because at that moment it was out of my hands forever.
