I know it's really irrational, but my mind is thinking about what if I don't get in anywhere...and it's already difficult enough thinking that I'm going to be separated from the gf for another 3-5 years at least.

I know...I got rejected from U of Washington Stats. My gf is already in U of Washington and I got rejected from both Biostats AND stats... Starting to even think that I might not get any successful applications out of 12 this year...

Just got an invite to their "Recruitment Day". I know this is not an interview or admission offer, but does anyone know if they send this out to all applicants or do they only send this out to those they are actually interested in?

Finished reading Rainbow Six on my kindle...only managed to burn a day and a half though.

Oh yeah, I feel that way even though I did my undergrad in a pretty well-known UK uni.

Let's just say, I had a huge delay for my GRE scores being reported to UCLA thanks to SOPHAS, and they had the cheek to tell me to check with UCLA when I called them. In the end it took a three-way call involving myself, the very patient UCLA admin and SOPHAS to sort it out.

Agree with those who brought up Michigan and Stanford. UCLA - well I had to do 2 apps, one in the UCLA portal and one on SOPHAS. UBC's app also didn't allow me to email my referees until I had submitted and paid. Also, you have to email or mail your SOP separately as well as there is no upload function.

I know how you feel. I had a back and forth email exchange with a school, until I finally gave up, stayed up till 2am to call them during their office hours and sorted it out.

Just got my first rejection, more than 2 months after submitting my application!

I've used Princeton Review and found it pretty useful in terms of test-taking strategies and practice tests.
