  1. so the subject was the same for those accepted and rejected?
  2. Weird question-- but does any one know what the subjects of the emails were last year? (good vs bad). Mine is getting sent to my school email and I think I will have less of a heart attack if I can tell right away from the subject instead of panicking over opening it
  3. eeeeeee this week. scared out of my mind
  4. I doubt we will hear tomorrow just because they notify our advisers a day before they notify us, and I think at least one person would have heard from their adviser had they already been notified. My bet is also on this or next Friday... I think Friday because it gives (rejected) people a few days to cool off over the weekend
  5. Interview from NIH/OxCam. Just waiting on Rockefeller now
  6. Anyone else having dreams about it that wake you in the night?
  7. I won't be able to concentrate knowing it is there!
  8. No, I'm not Germany, but I'm sure it's the same for at least all of Europe
  9. Agg! That prob means next Friday. Was hoping for not then, since I also have my harvard interview and bad news will make me unable to function
  10. Looks like a rejection for me then! Not upset since I planned on declining the interview anyway. How did you hear this?
  11. Anyone have any news about Rockefeller? Are they still sending out acceptances?
  12. Yeah, I don't know. My adviser was pretty specific that the Fulbright said the 31st.
  13. hmm. I don't know. maybe my adviser meant "by the 31st," although that's not what she said in her email. I just want to have some preparation before I get the email so I can freak out a little...
  14. I emailed my fulbright adviser and she wrote back that Fulbright notified them today that results will be available Jan 31st.
  15. regoiheroghewrigbfrwefre. From past years, they like sending on a Friday.
  16. woke up and kept checking to see if it was 10:30 for the phone call...
  17. Does anyone know how people found out last year that the first round decisions would be out early? I know it was on the website but I can't find where the date could be
  18. Hey, been out of town for the past ten days. Got interviews from MIT (bio) and NIH/Karolinska (I think? They may have just said they will later contact me for an interview). Still waiting on Rockefeller, Columbia, and NIH/Oxford/Cambridge.
  19. To person above-- please put them in the list (did it for you this time). Thanks! 20. Of course. THe interview is set up kind of weirdly, in my opinion. (The two dates are on the same weekend and require you to arrive or depart way after the actual interview). Here is the information: "There are two interview dates. You can choose to interview on *EITHER* Friday February 10, 2012: arrive Thursday (2.9), depart Sunday (2.12) *OR* Monday February 13, 2012: arrive Saturday (2.11), depart Monday (2.13)." It overlaps with my UPenn interview so I think I am going to take the Monday interview but I won't be able to arrive until Saturday afternoon or evening (they tell you to arrive Saturday morning and depart Monday night for the Monday interviews)
