Hey, thought I'd join the queer thread. Deciding between Chicago (Uchicago and Northwestern) and Boston (MIT). I am from Chicago so I know gay life there is great, and I had a good impression of Boston when I visited. Along the same lines, does anyone know any good resources for finding queer roommates??

hey, folks have started hearing from Harvard neuro-- any idea if they are doing multiple rounds of notifications?

Full grant to Denmark. This is my second rejection for scholarships to go to Denmark and I feel super deflated. Wanted this more than any of my grad schools

Yeah, I asked my adviser yesterday and she said she would notify me if she heard anything... and she hasn't notified me yet. Aghhh.

I just arrived in the hotel for my first grad school interview (Harvard). Don't know how I will be able to do anything until I find out and if I don't get it...

I know a lot of people will say I'm over reacting, but this is how I am: I feel like I am going to throw up from nerves.

Does anyone know if the fpa's were emailed or they looked it up? Still silence from my fpa who told me she would email me as soon as she got news

Hmm, my adviser still says they haven't gotten any news about it being before the 31st. AG!

So last year they were supposed to find out Friday and they found out Thursday night. This year we are supposed to find out on Thursday-- Any chance we will find out tonight then?

Freaking out. This means our advisers will know today. Anyone else reading in to their adviser's silence as a rejection???
