When applying to Columbia through the medical school, the application says the word limit for the personal statement is 500 words. Does anyone know if this is correct? It seems awfully short. I emailed but have yet to receive a response.

really happy with my scores.
163 verbal (93%) <-- My predicted was 670-770, which translates to 164-170, so this score is slightly below. this translates to a 650 old scale
168 quant (96%) <-- My predicted was 750-800, which translates to 159-170. my score translates to an 800 old scale
6.0 aw (99%)

Similar question-- depending on the school, I am either applying to a general bio program or a neuroscience program. When I took the GRE and got to choose schools to send my scores to, I just chose "bio undecided" for all the schools instead of "neuroscience." Do you think that will be fine?
