I feel bipolar on this one. One minute I'm "I've got a great application, I CAN DO THIS :littleengine:" and the other moment I'm all "I'm not good for these programs. YOUUUU WERE ALWAAAYS ON MY MIIIIIIIND." It's gonna be a long weekend.

I've been tempted to apply to Slavic linguistics, since Balto-Slavic languages are in my area of expertise, but somehow I don't like the philological (in de Saussure's sense) approach. It's a matter of taste, I guess. Congrats on your acceptance. I'm surprised by the lack of historical linguists here.

Thanks for this. I thought Harvard usually doesn't conduct interviews for linguistics applicants. I'm waiting for MIT/Cornell/Yale as well, and it's pretty much all over February. The stress is killing me.

Oxford, PhD in linguistics. Going for the March deadline. Mostly because I cannot take this anymore so I need a break. Also, I'm broke.
