  1. Specifically for energy policy, I think UCB is one of the better places to be. Apart from GSPP, as you mention, ERG is has one of the better graduate programs. Did you apply for the MPP/MS dual degree? I took a shot at it, but couldn't make it.
  2. In as well folks.. congratulations to all who got through.
  3. And while waiting for SIPA, unannounced came acceptance from Ford. This definitely makes the wait a lot easier. But waiting nevertheless.
  4. In at Ford as well. I'm an international student. Good luck to all who're waiting.
  5. Reading this far sent shivers up my spine. Thought it meant it's all over, just reject buttons to be clicked. Dude... language is a potent weapon. Use discretion out of solidarity for the faint-hearted
  6. I didn't know I made such a strong application to keep them busy for three weeks trying to justify "how should we reject this one?"
  7. **sigh** We are entitled to wishful thinking anyhow. I like it there in la-la land
  8. Now that I've nothing better to do but wait, I've been reading between the lines. Consider this random s#!t - Does anyone think "worth the wait" means late notifications are really worth the wait? Wait = funding?
  9. None yet for me either. I reckon we won't have to wait much longer now
  10. Quality and opportunity are conditional to individual aspirations. Were your argument to hold true, every educated soul on earth would've been banging the doors of business / law / medicine schools. What do you think would happen if everyone were to become lawyers of bankers?
  11. And what, may I ask, is the objective parameter for comparison of quality and opportunities?
  12. On the same boat. I aimed for all extremely competitive programs (devil knows why), with exceptionally bad GPA, but very relevant work ex , and strong LOR's, GRE etc. Reality dawned as I started receiving one rejection after the other... though lucky apparently to have got through Harris. It's a relief in case SIPA decisions are relatively sympathetic towards grades
  13. I swear this thread freaked me out. After stalking so diligently for so long.. to suddenly find a thread for SIPA admissions with 18 pages scared the hell out me ! No decisions notification on my applyyourself account yet. Fingers crossed.
  14. Wow.... that's some serious due diligence !
  15. Accepted at Harris (MPP). No funding though, wasn't expecting anyway. Good to have an acceptance after 2 b2b rejections from MIT TPP and Goldman MPP.
  16. I got an acceptance email to MPP from Harris as well, no funding though. I'm an international student.
  17. Couldn't make it. I applied for dual track, MPP + MS (ERG), though the email does not specify ERG's decision, though I think it's final. Congratulations to all those accepted.
  18. Many congrats people ! Haven't heard yet... nervous as hell. Could one of the admitted folks please confirm whether the application status on UCB's app site changed? Likewise, did someone's status change to reject/waitlisted?
  19. I got a rejection email as well . Looking forward to other applications. When do you think would be appropriate to seek feedback on my application, if I were to consider re-applying next year as well?
  20. Does anyone have a clue what's going on? There are still just 2 acceptances on the results page. No rejections either. Did they stop sending emails or something?
  21. Hello 'sub 3.0' comrades I'm trying to get into MPP programs with bare minimum uGPA (engineering). I applied to 8 programs, haven't heard from any so far, rejections neither. As days pass by, I'm running out of nails to bite. Has anyone (or know of someone) been accepted into MPP/MPA with low GPA?
