My situation echoes yours. Similarly, I've been rejected by all but one school (technically two) and while I'm eager to hear from the last school I'm ready to move on and figure out what my next steps should be. I have, however, taken the time to reach out to schools from which I've received rejections and requested feedback about my application and things that I could do different next year. I know this is something that I want, so it really doesn't do me any justice to lounge around reveling in my own self pity. I encourage you to do the same thing. Come up with a game plan (just in case). Hope for the best, plan for the worst. If this is really what you want....Stay the path! It'll be worth it.

Well, we all know what they say about hindsight...right? Having completed a MS last year and going through this process now, I wish I would have applied to MS/PhD programs last year rather than did a terminal program last year. I think I would have saved myself alot of hassle this year. Also, I am quite sure I will have reevaluated the schools I applied to. But, life's a lesson.

Indeed. While I knew I was in the older graduate bracket, I'm comforted knowing I'm not alone. And way to go for our oldest board members....not one, but two in the 70+ range! How awesome is that!

I have to try and remember this when I'm reviewing the results board! SMH. It's not ill intent on their ends, yes. However, more information would be great especially when you're on a board full of individuals reaching for something more - just as you are. I have posted my info on the results board, but I haven't had any good news to report as yet. However, I am ELATED for those who've already received acceptances. Let's keep the good times rolling!
