Has anyone heard from NAU? I've heard form one person that got an actual paper letter earlier this week. I'm trying not to panic, hoping its just taking mine longer to get here because I'm in Ohio. Does anyone know if they notify people on their waitlist or are they only sending out acceptance letters? Thanks for any insight!

Hello! I have also seen that people are getting paper letters in the mail! I am from AZ and have not received anything in the mail or via email yet.  This is my second time applying to NAU and I know last year they sent out denials via email at the beginning of April. I think the waitlist was sent out in March if I am remembering correctly! Hopefully this helps! Don't panic its still pretty early on!

I am wondering if we have still not heard from NAU at this point if it is rejection?

I haven’t heard anything from NAU. Last email I received requested that I send in my SLPA employment verification and my supervisor’s ASHA membership card.

I haven't even gotten got much out of them! Literally not a peep!  But maybe cause I applied for the full-time track? I saw most acceptances were sent out Mid- February

I went to NAU for my undergrad and this is exactly how it was last year. I know some people that heard of their acceptance late march. They are really bad at communicating what's going on  lol

I have a friend that applied there last year and literally never heard back from them. One would think if we are spending money on their application we should at least get a response.

Yeah I didn't hear I was denied until the beginning of April last year. It is annoying though because the last thing I got from them was an email asking about my residency and then nothing. They least they could do is send some kind of update.

That is so strange! I haven't heard a peep out of them yet. Thankfully, I am accepted somewhere else but it would still be nice to at least know.

I’m also declining my offer. Based on what I’ve read about their lack of professionalism and communication with students, I don’t even want to bother thinking about going here. Wish I would’ve researched a bit more before spending money and taking the time to apply. If anyone has any GOOD reasons to stick with this school, then by all means let me know ?

I attend NAU. I like it so far. There are so many factors to consider and everyone’s priorities are different. I feel like sometimes there is a breakdown in communication but nothing too serious. They actually sent out written acceptance letters when I applied and rejections were via email and letter. I needed to find a program that would allow me to work as a SLPA while attending grad school so their Summers Track program was my top choice

The school I currently attend didn’t send out rejection letters at all, so I wouldn’t doubt a school by that. They literally sent out a one sentence email saying you’re rejected after people called and  complained for weeks! Some schools just don’t tell people any news unless it’s good news :/
