B1369 Posted November 23, 2018 Posted November 23, 2018 Hi everyone, I am a new immigrant in Canada and I have a Masters degree in psychology. I am going to apply to a Ph.D. program in social psychology next year. Since I have one year to prepare myself What can I do to maximize my chances of being accepted? I don't have any publications and have 3 years of experience working in an organization for street and working children. My grades are good and I think I can get a decent GRE score. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

But better some than none
Fi19 Posted December 4, 2018 Posted December 4, 2018 Start thinking about who can write you exceptional and personal letters now. If you can’t think of three letters, focus on developing relationships with more professors this year.
